What We Do

At Bartlett Farms we look at food and health as a long term investment in the well-being of the next generation.

Sure, there are benefits to changing your diet now, like less allergies, better digestion, and lower instances of colds and flu. But the bigger picture is what we have in mind.

Your kids will inherit the future, and it is our responsibility now to not only raise them up, but teach them the way the world works. How to live and love and enjoy the goodness of the life God has given them.

That’s why Bartlett Farms is here.

If you are someone who is looking for cheap, low quality raw milk from conventional cows on your typical dairy farm, then read no further. We are probably not what you’re looking for.

But if you believe food is your medicine and are looking for high quality safe, convenient raw milk from well cared for cows, then we may be able to help.

We are the Bartlett family and our health journey took shape when we moved to a bare piece of land in 2004 and started raising food. We saw the benefits of eating real food and working together as a family.

Not everyone can drop everything and grow their own food like we did. It takes years to learn how to properly care for a milk cow, never mind the commitment to milking her twice every day!

What do we do?

We provide families like yours access to grass-based raw Jersey milk in glass bottles. Using our Real Cow Ownership model, we deliver fresh raw milk to owners along delivery routes including Minot, Bismarck, Williston, Grand Forks, and more.

Besides a legal precaution, we believe the RCO model is a fantastic way to engage kids in the process of producing real food.

When you become an owner of a real cow by purchasing one of our RCO plans, you’ll be given pictures and updates from the actual cow that produces your milk. Your kids will be able to tell their friends they own the cow that produces their milk. Each morning at breakfast, your family can thank the cow who lives on your refrigerator magnet for producing such health-giving, nourishing milk.

We offer three basic levels of ownership, each of which can be customized to fit your needs.

Basic Milker ($80 startup, then $7 per week)

Includes one share and provides about a half gallon of raw Jersey milk per week for 10 months of the year.

Family Milk Cow ($150 startup, then $12 per week)

Includes two shares and provides about one gallon of raw Jersey milk per week plus access to extra milk produced at various times during the year.

Home Dairy ($250 startup, then $30 per week)

Starts at five shares, providing about two and a half gallons of raw Jersey milk per week plus access to extra milk produced during the year.
