RFK released a new revision of the food pyramid this month.
You and I know we don’t take advice from the government on health.
But a change to national dietary recommendations is a symptom of a greater shift happening in America.
People are waking up to the fact that the human body responds the best to properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods.
And animal proteins, whole milk, and healthy fats are back!
Butter isn’t the bad guy — fake margarine and seed oils are!
Traditional diets (or the “Trad Diet” as we like to say) have been consumed for thousands of years prior to industrialized agriculture.
Trad Diets have stood the test of time.
Trad Diets are not lab-tested, but have been tested with generations of healthy babies (see Weston A Price Foundation).
RFK has said he “only drinks raw milk.” So it is not far-fetched to presume that if RFK had his way, raw milk may very well have been at the top of the new food pyramid.
After all, RAW milk is the real WHOLE milk — never altered in any way. No separation, pasteurization, or homogenization.
Here at Bartlett Farms, we’re excited about the changes to the food pyramid and public opinion in general.
Not because we love the government telling us what to eat, but because it is a sign that what we’ve been saying for over 20 years is now going mainstream.
More meat, more dairy, less seed oils, and less carbs.
So, this January, as you consider your new year’s resolutions to take back your health, think Trad Diet — and ditch the fad diets.
